I recently did a follow up documentation on the redevelopment process of @UP!Berlin for @jasperarchitects. The giant 1979 #concrete structure has been completely stripped and gutted. While on top concrete #work is being done to add another storey, the new façade is already taking shape from the bottom up. What almost looked like more of a #demolition earlier this year has now become a perfect example for how design works – throw out a lot first, before you add anything new.
