Thank you to all the curious visitors who dropped by my exhibition #berlinbaldfertig at @AtelierKirchner. A special guest was retired architect and urban planner Prof. Hans Stimmann. Director of the Senate Department for #Urban Development and Housing from 1999 until 2006 and initiator of the @PlanwerkInnenstadt Stimmann played a key role in laying the foundations for Berlin’s current urban development. His controversially discussed position of critical reconstruction seeks to repair and densify the city by following its #historical urban layout using local building typologies.
