01/06/2021 — yeni İstanbul

In early 2014 I found the time to spend a couple of weeks in #Istanbul. I would start my journey in the tradition of Henri Lefebvre. I would wander this giant city bridging two continents and let myself be inspired by its spirit and structure and its enormous #density. What struck me the most was how centuries-old #heritage and vast #urban restructurings of the beginning 21st century coexisted. It was especially the newer developments and expansions that then let a documentary project take shape: #Yeniİstanbul.
