15/09/2021 — Parkhotel Heilbronn for Berthold Architekten
Recently I was hired to shoot the new four-star @ParkhotelHeilbronn for @BertholdArchitekten. With its direct connection to the civic center the building is more than just a hotel. It houses spaces for events and conventions and a craft brewery as well as the rooftop bar make it a meeting point for guests and city residents alike.
Besides the detailed design of the building which lends itself to aesthetic elements from 1950s architecture, another personal highlight for me was the landscaping in front of the hotel and the giant Caucasian wingnut tree. Taking time for two days I ventured the #Parkhotel in and out, analyzed the urban situation and looked for angles to best represent the building in its context.
