13/02/2025 — Wall deign concept for Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik
In close cooperation with the German Institute for Building Technology in Berlin, I developed a wall design concept for the lobby in front of their conference hall.
For this, I selected two photographs from my collection of #construction site pictures, which I arranged in a diptych of unequal formats according to the golden ratio.
Here is the installation view, which shows that the framed images are not merely aesthetic design elements but also suitable representations of the institute's main tasks.
The DIBt is a technical authority and at the same time a service provider for the construction industry. It assesses the safety of buildings and issues approvals and permits, thereby supporting the development of new building products and types of construction.
