14/05/2025 — “The Delta Campus” for Berthold Architekten
→The Delta Campus at →Kalle Neukölln is an innovative workspace that has been created in the former car park of a department store chain. By making unconventional use of the existing architecture, →Berthold Architekten have created a flexible coworking space characterised by room-in-room structures.
These offer protected retreats such as meeting rooms, telephone booths and a podcast studio, while open areas invite collaboration. A curtain separates the coworking area from the multifunctional co-creation space in the atrium, which is also used for events.
The design impresses with its simplicity and skilful colour accents in the materials, which lend the space a calm yet inspiring atmosphere. The Delta Campus embodies the successful combination of old and new in the vibrant creative cosmos of Kalle Neukölln.
I personally found it enjoyable and inspiring to work in close collaboration with the team of Berthold Architekten on the day of the photo production. It gave me an insight into the aesthetic motivation and architectural quality of this project.
