This is a comparative study on single-family homes inspired by the "Typologies" of Bernd and Hilla Becher. The houses were all photographed under more or less consistent conditions. Although these homes are all of similar size and comparable shape, direct comparison reveals remarkable varities.
The prosaic title of this series, EFH, stands for the German term "Einfamilienhaus" which means single-family home. It is inspired by the common practice of planning offices abbreviating the names of their projects to a three letter acronym.
